Get Involved in Small Business Saturday!

Small Business Saturday 2023 is taking place this Saturday, 2nd December.

So what is it? Small Business Saturday is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages the public to 'shop local' and support the small businesses in their communities.

The initiative has been running for over ten years in the UK and supports businesses from every sector and industry from independent shops and restaurants to small service and B2B businesses. Any small business can take part and get involved.

The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December every year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses and the local community.

Since the UK campaign started in 2013, it has reached millions of people and seen billions spent with small businesses on the day itself, with an impact that lasts all year.

So how can you get involved?

As a small business, this is a great opportunity to be in the spotlight. You can get involved by promoting the day on your social media accounts, hosting events, and even offering promotions. If you’ve got any plans for the day, make sure to tell the Small Business Saturday team for a shout-out on their social media accounts too.

You can also register and advertise your business on the Small Business Finder directory for FREE.
