We are excited to announce the return of Women’s Business Networking in 2025 to celebrate female entrepreneurs in Northamptonshire.
Hosted by West Northamptonshire Council’s Women’s Forum and Business & Intellectual Property Centre Northamptonshire, join us for our first event of the year on Wednesday 5 March, as we come together to celebrate International Women’s Day.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, Accelerate Action, emphasises the significant gender equality gap and the importance of inspiring others to embrace women’s inclusion.
The interactive session will be led by business owner and South Midlands Growth Hub Manager, Ruth Roan. Ruth, a mum of 3, has run her own business Consultancy Company since 2006 whilst bringing up a young family. She has over 20 years’ experience in the business support sector, working with business to grow. Ruth’s passion is working with people, organisations and local communities, helping them to build solid foundations, giving them the skills, confidence and expertise to grow and succeed. Recently listed in ‘100 women in the South East Midlands to champion change’ by Natwest Bank, Ruth is dedicated to supporting more women into enterprise.
This free networking event is open to all – whether you’re an established business woman or a woman who is looking to start their own business, this group will offer a friendly supportive environment to build connections with other female business owners in Northamptonshire.
This event is in-person only and will be taking place on Wednesday 5 March 2025 from 12.00 - 2.00pm in The Great Hall, The Guild Hall, Saint Giles' Square, Northampton, NN1 1DE.
