Stuart Thomas founded Medi8 Therapy, a relationship coaching and support service based in Daventry Northamptonshire. He works with couples and individuals on things like communication, conflict resolution, trust, infidelity, and emotional connection. He also works with people who aren't necessarily having relationship problems but have got a lot going on and need somewhere to talk things through. Stuart says:
"I've always been interested in people and relationships, and I suppose I've ended up making a job out of being the person people talk to when they're not quite sure what to do next. I'm pretty straight talking and I don't do jargon. I listen, ask questions, sometimes challenge people a bit and help them work things out. I offer a toolkit of ideas, but I'm not there to tell people how to live their lives, which is probably just as well!"
Medi8 has grown much more than Stuart expected when he started it. He's now worked with more than 200 clients and picked up some lovely feedback along the way, including a few small business awards!

Stuart was successfully awarded a Build Your Business grant to help grow the business and attended various BIPC Northamptonshire events and webinars including:

• Developing your USP webinar
• Business networking
“BIPC gave me somewhere to go for advice when I had no idea what I was doing with things like marketing, business planning and growing the business. They also introduced me to people and opportunities that I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The Build Your Business grant was a big help too. Most importantly, BIPC gave me confidence. When you're starting a business, there are plenty of moments when you wonder whether you're doing the right thing. Having that support around me helped me believe in what I was building.”
